Discover the dramatic political crisis that ended Reconstruction with the Compromise of 1877, and the astonishing plot to steal President Abraham Lincoln’s body, attempted on Election Night, November 7, 1876. Lecture is presented by Bryce O. Stenzel and hosted by the Friends. Admission: free will donation is appreciated to benefit the Boy in Blue Civil War Veterans Headstone Project.
