Februrary 11              Lincoln Lecture @ 7 pm at the Morson-Ario-Strand 
VFW Post 950 in Mankato, MN.

                                     "Stolen in State: The Disputed Election of 1876 and the Plot to Steal Lincoln's Body"

                                      Discover the dramatic political crisis that ended Reconstruction with the Compromise of                                            1877, and the astonishing plot to steal President Abraham Lincoln’s body, attempted on                                                Election Night, November 7, 1876. Lecture is presented by Bryce O. Stenzel and hosted                                                  by the Friends.  Admission: free will donation is appreciated to benefit the Boy in Blue Civil                                          War Veterans Headstone Project. March 28                     Civil War Symposium - "Two Revolutions: Liberty and Union"

May 16                         Civil War Veterans Headstone Dedication in Glenwood Cemetery in Mankato

 

May 25                          Decoration Day in Lincoln Park (Memorial Day)


July 8                             Patriotic Band Concert in Lincoln Park
